FANTASTIC MOVIE!

I have seen all of the Star Wars movies and this was my favorite. It is definitely a movie worth seeing. There is a really good scene with podracers in it, and Jar Jar Binks (a Gungan)is really funny. This movie is two thumbs up!

George Lucas...lucky (...)

I knew we were in for something bad with "Phantom Menace" when you look at what he did to the original trilogy a short time earlier. Listen folks, all you need to know is this: George Lucas has NO CONCEPT of what makes a movie good. All he cares about is filling the screen with unneeded special effects, many of which are hard to look at because they stand out so much. I will not comment on "Jar-Jar" specifically because it's no more ridiculous than the hundreds of other things in this movie. Save you money. If you want to buy your kids a nice "kids movie" I'd suggest "Toy Story(1 or 2)" or "Shrek". Heck, I've seen Saturday morning cartoons that had tighter stories than "Phantom Menace". (...) I have to assume that "Star Wars" was a lucky accident for you. Here's a tip for you: look into making the next "Final Fantasy" instead. (...)

The only Star Wars movies you need

With George Lucas becoming an overrated, bloated egomaniac and completely sucking the life and adventure out of the once promising series, the classic "original" trilogy is the only Lucas road worth traveling. Watch these movies and compare them with the two recent prequels, and you will see many differences in quality. Sure, the new ones are amped up on SFX steroids, but are missing the heart that the semi-low budget "A New Hope" had. My favorite movie out of the trilogy would probably be The Empire Strikes back, which completely destroys "A New Hope" in my opinion. I recently bought this trilogy and enjoyed watching it because it reminded me of when I was really small and I used to own all 3 movies in their original packaging (Too bad they got sold at a lawn sale 8 years ago). Oh yeah, George, if you're watching, bring back Chewbacca.

PEOPLE GET OVER IT!!!

A New Hope was great! Empire makes no sense now. Vader talks to the Emperor and the Emporer says "The son of Anakin Skywalker. is a threat. Well if her is talking to Anakin, why not say "your son is a problem!". Plot is important. Lucas may not think so but I strongly believe in it. Before, the Emeror did not know Vader was his father, That's why he sent him to get Luke. If he knew then why would you take the chance and send out dadio to kill/getr his son. It's just stupid. He would have sent someone else. It is rediculous. I can't believe he did that.

Jedi has a different ending. Young Annie shows up instead of Vader. Imagine if in every ghost movie if all the ghosts came back 30 odd years younger. The sixth sence for example. Bruce Willis really does not give a hoot about the young boy who can see dead people because he can't figure out why he is in his 20s after getting shot. He wanters around thinking he was shot by the bullet of youth. Lucas is slowly going mad I think and has lost all desire to make plot consistent in his movies. I got the set and later purchased a bootleg of Empire & Jedi from the earlier Special Edition. I recommend the same to all. George may think he can make us drink poo if he mixes it in with a milkshake but fans like me can taste the difference.
